If you are an Adventures of 8 reader than you know that I am always looking for earth-friendly toys that get my kids away from their Leap Pad and Nintendo. I was raised in the 80’s (yes, I am dating myself here) when we didn’t sit in front of the TV all the time, we actually PLAYED with our friends and our imaginations went wild! The day our Dino Adventure Rig arrived, I showed Little Man the box and his jaw dropped, he was super-excited. He immediately asked to play with it and I began removing the set from the box. I smiled a huge smile when I saw that even the packaging was made of recycled material, this company is really doing their part to keep the planet green!!! After I removed the set, Little Man began playing and within minutes, Little Miss joined him. I could just hear their imaginations run free as they made up some intricate story of how the big Dino had to save the little one, ha, ha, ha! 

What I love about the set is:

• It is a full set at a reasonable price ($24.99) – unlike other manufactures that sell you a piece at a time; this is a full set that is ready to be played with.
• Since the toys are made paint-free, I don’t worry if Baby Miss gets her hands on a toy and starts gnawing on it. (Yes, she is teething.)
• The trucks big tires are strong enough to endure the rough terrain that is our back yard.
• Each piece is light and easy to clean.

What the kids love about the set is:

• The Dinos are funny to look at –their big smiles made the kids laugh.
• The backpack and hat come off the little guy that comes with the set.
• They can take the Dinos in the bath to continue their exploration.
• The truck can be used inside and outside.
• It is just an all-around fun set to play with.
