*GIVE-it-AWAY* Get Your Kids ROCK 'N the Learn 'n - with Rock 'n Learn Learning DVD's

Okay, so Little Man is learning to read. He is officially five years old and begins Kindergarten in the fall, so it is time. He has been attending the Mother’s Day Out program at our Church and does very well there. At home we have worked with him for some time on writing and reading, but did not want to push too hard. Just like all five year olds, his attention span is short, so we try to work with him, when we can. So, I am ALWAYS looking for educational games, movies, and music for him. That is why I just LOVE Rock 'n Learn.
Rock 'n Learn’s philosophy is to teach kids by putting educational material to hot and hip music to fun and bright animation, allowing kids to learn, without realizing they are learning. They have produced over fifty audio/book and video programs that help teach children math, phonics, early childhood, social studies, Spanish, test-taking strategies, writing, and science, across the US, Canada, and other countries. You know, I remember years ago, my Daddy made the comment that if I could just learn my multiplication tables like I did the latest New Kids on the Block song, I would be getting strait A’s – well, that is the same concept as Rock 'n Learn – learning to catchy music. (By the way, thank you for not snickering at my New Kids comment.)

Now, if you remember, last year we reviewed and loved the Rock 'n Learn Sight Words, DVD, so we were very excited when  Rock 'n Learn  sent us the Letter Sounds DVD to review.

The day the movie arrived, both Little Miss and Little Man jumped for joy, shouting “Look Mama, another Sight Words, our favorite!” Ha, ha, ha. I put the movie in and both kids sat in Little Mans room and watched the WHOLE movie in one sitting. Now, if you have kids, you know a movie has to be engaging for a three and five-year-old to sit through the whole thing! I sat and watched a bit and could understand why my kids were so enthralled; not only is the movie full of catchy music, it is bright, colorful, and fast paced, so that the kids don’t get bored. Well, within a couple days of watching the movie, Little Man was dancing and singing along with the movie, easily trying to sound out the letter sounds, as the movie instructed.
What is even better is that one night at a restaurant, little man pointed to a poster on the wall and tried to sound out the words… then shouted, “Look, I am doing it, like I do with my movie!”
Okay - check out this short video to see how Little Man put his DS down to watch the video - Priceless!

I can honestly tell you that  Rock 'n Learn  is fun way for your children to learn. So, whether you have a child just starting in preschool or one that is struggling taking a test or needs help in math, history, or science, I suggest, checking out  Rock 'n Learn.
